The ‘land of the long white cloud’ lived up to its name this morning. As you can see in the top picture by the shrouded boat making its way into the bay, there was a misty sea which gave way to a beautiful day.
School holidays are underway and there are plenty of people outdoors, enjoying boating, swimming, walking and what is proving to be another superb week in the Bay of Islands. With vivid blue skies, warm sunshine and water temperature hovering around 20 degrees, it is idyllic.
We are having a busy time at the Luxury Real Estate office in Russell. There is a high level of interest in coastal and waterfront property and significant movement in the market at present. In particular, we are seeing a lot of interest in waterfront homes with features that signify the lifestyle on offer in the Bay of Islands. The buoyant Auckland market is also driving enquiry as buyers recognise the opportunities in the coastal domain.
As we head into May, make sure you don’t miss any of the great events scheduled in the Bay of Islands over coming months. Keep an eye on the links on the home page of this blog to areas of interest.
One for those unique events is the Dom Perignon Champagne Dinner at Kauri Cliffs – 1 June, 2013.
Kauri Cliffs are treating guests to an unforgettable experience. They have generous offers to extend your stay, so you can enjoy the world-class facilities at Kauri Cliffs and this special part of the world. Further information: Kauri Cliffs Dom Perignon Champagne Dinner.
