Ever a popular spot to watch the sun set, Russell’s waterfront offers a spectacular view at any time of the day.  Last week, the bay was home to a number of visiting super yachts, here to compete in the Millennium Cup.  The fleet provided quite a sight on the water.  This year’s winner was Tawera – read more of The 2017 Millennium Cup results and race highlights here.

Summer is proving a busy one for the region which is welcoming visitors from around the country and the globe.  That trend appears set to continue with The Bay of Islands soon to be seen on billboards across Melbourne in an upcoming campaign by Tourism New Zealand.  The area was also the chosen location for the latest Air New Zealand safety video (Pictured below: Long Beach in the ‘Summer of Safety’)
